Captain Mark has been fishing for more than 35 years… from the early days with family and friends on the Lower Niagara River to days spent on the open lake, Mark has always been in the fish. Mark learned his skills from one of the best steelheaders many of us had the pleasure to fish beside… Mark’s dad, so his skills are very well founded. Steelhead, trout, and salmon from Queenston to the Whirlpool were Mark’s passion and he continues to be a river and lake fisherman like no other.
Dockside, Captain Mark provides space to relax and enjoy time before and after time on the water. A barbecue and gazebo make it comfortable to share stories and plan for the day chasing salmon and trout on the big lake. Captain Mark’s friendly hospitality will have you booking Salmon and Trout trips for years to come. Mark is also bilingual and is fluent in both English and French adding to his ability to provide comfort and confidence to all who fish with his team from all over Canada.

Captain Bob is relatively new to the Niagara Fish Assassins team, but he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge for the hunt of King salmon. It all started in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Bob began salmon fishing when the Thunder Bay Salmon Association developed a hatchery in 1987 to stock and provide a sport fishery. Captain Bob assisted with the growth and development of eggs, fry, alevins, and smolts through shifts of cleaning and feeding the hatchery salmon tanks and raceways.
After Thunder Bay, Bob continued to fish for Pacific salmon in the famed waters off the British Columbia coastline while he lived and worked out of the city of Kelowna. His family then moved to Owen Sound where he thoroughly enjoyed participating in The Owen Sound Salmon Spectacular. Adding to this experience, Bob moved to the east coast of Canada where he chased Atlantic Salmon on rivers like the famous Miramichi while living in Moncton, NB. Bob and his friends travelled from Moncton to participate in the Owen Sound Salmon Spectacular annually.
Now Bob calls Lake Ontario’s waters his salmon fishing home and since 2008, Bob has shared his enthusiasm and excitement for King salmon fishing with family and friends. As a Niagara Fish Assassin, Captain Bob will put you on fish of a lifetime. Come join him and the Assassins Team for a day on the big water for big fish.
